          Joseph M. Marshall III (born c. April 8, Brulé Lakota, Sicangu Oyate) son of Joseph Nelson Marshall Sr.

          and Hazel Lorraine Two Hawk-Marshall, is a historian, writer, teacher, craftsman, administrator, actor, and public speaker. He was a founding board member in of Sinte Gleska University, the tribal college at the Rosebud Indian Reservation.

          Biography

          Joseph Marshall III was born and raised on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota, and is an enrolled member of the federally recognized Sicangu Oyate (Rosebud Sioux, Lakota) tribe.
