Vincent Jean Mpoy Kompany (born 10 April 1986) is a Belgian professional footballmanager and former player who is the head coach of Bundesliga club Bayern Munich.

A centre-back during his playing career, Kompany spent eleven seasons at Manchester City, eight of which he served as captain. Kompany also represented the Belgium national team for fifteen years, and seven as captain.
