Hanna Karttunen was born in Oulo, Finland and is a Professional Latin and Exhibition dancer.

Specializing in the Latin style and representing England with Paul Killick, she won the prestigious titles of UK Open Professional Latin Champion, International Champion, World Series Champion, World Masters Champion, Dutch Open Champion, US Open Champion, Asian Open Champion, and Kremlin Cup Champion.

She is also a four-time British National Champion.

When Paul Killick announced his retirement from competition in May 2004, Hanna went on to partner Victor Da Silva in the Exhibition style.
