Vincent F. "Mike" Igoe, Jr.
Vincent F. Igoe, Jr., known to many as “Mike”, of Liberty, Missouri, and formerly of Leawood, Kansas, passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 79.
He leaves behind his wife Diane Moore Igoe; children Carol Igoe Amiri (Mohsen Amiri, M.D.), Christopher Igoe (Dana Igoe), and Louis Igoe (Catherine Dodge).
He also leaves grandchildren Vincent Amiri, Mary Elizabeth Amiri, Preston Igoe, and Jackson Igoe; other family members Janet and Chuck Fiegel, and Teresa Moore.
Vincent graduated from William Jewell College in 1967 and UMKC Law School in 1972, where he was a member of the Law Review and Editorial Staff.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; his stepdaughter, Wendy; his two step-granddaughters, Kambria and Maggie; his nephew, Robert; nieces.
After graduation from law school, he served two years as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Missouri under John Danforth. He also practiced as a Special Assistant Prosecuting Attorney under William Brandom for eight years.
